Visual Art – Philadelphia

Growing up in the Bronx and then shifting gears and moving to Lancaster, PA was the most formative aspect of my life. At an early age, i was struck by the sheer artistry it takes to get by in the Bronx. Art was everywhere. Since then I could not stop making art myself. First as self reflection and an effort to surround myself with what beauty I could glean from the streets of New York. Later, people drew my attention; their inconsistencies, banalities, imperfections, deviances and the overall idea that somehow we\'re all striving to be some ideal became my mania. Since then I have been exploring what it means to be a person. What it means to occupy a body; to be a mind, an aura, wrapped in flesh.
