Samantha Aiken is the small town girl with a Texas sized voice! The beautiful, Texas born performer, songwriter and guitarist got her start in South Texas when she was 12 years old. At 15, she was honored by the South Texas Music Association with “Best Female Vocalist Award.” Sam was featured in local Country Opry shows where she played with vintage musicians who had played on the 1950\'s Louisiana Hayride Show, toured with Patsy Cline and even Elvis Presley. They all coached her and encouraged her to go professional. By age 16, she was writing songs for local commercials and had a song featured worldwide on Showtime’s Strikeforce MMA series. Samantha and her professional band “Rodeo Drive” built a following and played play all around South Texas at clubs, dance halls and county fairs. She wrote and recorded 2 all original cd’s. Now she’s 19 and has moved to San Diego, California where she is rocking California audiences - Texas Style! Samantha has a powerful, passionate and unique sound, influenced by rock and roll, blues, Tejano, and the southern music she grew up with. She is working on her 3rd cd!
