Visual Art – Connecticut
Samela Aguirre was born first generation American, in a Spanish speaking household, on the south shore of Long Island. A 40 minute train ride from Manhattan and a 20 minute drive from the beach. She has been practicing yoga for eight years, from Florence, Italy to Times Square, NY. She drinks loose leaf tea daily and has pet rats.
She is graduating in May 2013 from the Hartford Art School with a BFA in Illustration.
