My name is Samantha Childs. I was born and raised in Detroit MI and found myself enchanted by the natural beauty of TN, so I now call Nashville my home. My main outlets of expression are painting and sculpting. I would most describe my style as a Surreal Expressionist. Most of my creative processes are natural and free flowing, mixing my colors and modifying my composition as I go. I feel that by using this method my art is very true to myself and the feels that I want to portray. Experimenting with texture and contrast is how I set my artwork out from the crowd.
