Sandee M. Chamberlain (SandeeScribbles)

I recently graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design here in Atlanta, Georgia. I earned an MFA in Illustration and a MA in Animation, which tells about my personality and offers that as an artist I am inspired and influenced by popular media. Currently I am teaching at The Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur and Portfolio Center, in the disciplines of illustration and animation. I grew up in Southern California and moved to the Atlanta area in 2005. While in Southern California I earned a BFA in Entertainment Art with a concentration in Animation from California State University, Fullerton. I feel that having lived on both the West and East Coast my art melds the sentiment of the layback surfer lifestyle of the West Coast with the rich history that comes with the experience of living in the South and on the East Coast. My world revolves around creating art and helping others to create art. It is my life-long passion to create visual imagery that inspires and captures thoughtful interest. I have worked with traditional and digital media and feel that artist go through chapters in their creativity and each chapter offers new and exciting challenges. I have become fascinated with mixed media and collage lately, so in turn it has fueled the fire that is driving my new work. I thank you for your time and interest in my work. Cheers!
