Photography – Nashville

I consider myself to be a photographer, book artist and poet. As a student at MTSU my emphasis was in photography, but I found a second love in book arts. I enjoy different kinds of photography including portraits, fashion and film work. I like to use these images and make handmade artist books. While I enjoy digital I have a love of black and white film photography. Working in the darkroom making prints is one of my favorite things to do. Some photographers who have influenced me are Imogen Cunningham, Edward Weston, Eva Rubinstein, and Robert Demachy. What I love most about photography is that it is a window to a persons world and how they see it. I love being in creative environments where everyone can work and learn with and from one another. With my work I strive to make people look more deeply at the world around them.
