Beauty – Riverside
I am Michael Anthony, I also preform in drag as \\\"Scarlett\\\". It was creating and performing as my drag character, Scarlett, that I discovered my passion and talent for makeup. Since that short time ago I have taken every opportunity to learn all that I can about cosmetic formulation and application. I have been building my kit and makeup collection and I am slowly building a client base.Although not formally trained in makeup I have learned a great deal and been able to compete with some of the best local makeup artists and shine in the crowd, I don\\\'t have a piece of paper to certify my training but I do have natural talent, creativity, and a skill that cannot be taught. Makeup, as with many other forms of art is something that anyone can take classes on and learn the basics but to create something truly beautiful you must have passion and that is something you are either born with, or you can never learn. I have a unique outlook on things and Love making things beautiful.
I was a 2011 RAW nominee for makeup artist of the year and I am thankful for the opportunity. I think that this is an amazing starting point for my career and I hope to continue to learn and create amazing things!
