Sarah DeAngelo Jewelry

Accessories – Madison

My jewelry making story begins long ago. I never set out to become a jewelry artist. Life has a funny way of taking you places you never expect! I was on my way to becoming an Occupational Therapist when I was sidetracked by my love of making jewelry. I was waiting tables while finishing the last of my graduate requirements and selling jewelry at a local flea market to support my bead addiction. An extremely rude customer prompted me to impulsively quit my waitress job and off I went to the boutiques to sell my jewelry. My jewelry was so well received I quickly changed paths and went to school for metalsmithing. I have never looked back. I feel extremely blessed to be able to make a living doing what I love. My husband works along side me, managing all the business aspects, which allows both of us to spend more time with our 2 little boys. I have a degree in Goldsmithing from the Howard Academy of Metal Arts in Stoughton, Wisconsin. I also studied Metal Arts at UCLA and Santa Monica College in California. I have been designing jewelry for 14 wonderful years. My designs have been worn by Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, and have been seen on television shows such as NBC\'s \"Hidden Hills\" (2002). You can also spot my jewelry on Leigh Mills, Madison\'s local evening news anchor on NBC.
