Music – Honolulu
Join local Honolulu vocalist/guitarist Sean Cleland for a night of acoustic and electric pop, soul, blues, rock, and folk. His shows blend together a musical mixture of John Mayer, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles, Motown/Stax, and Eric Clapton. His repertoire includes fresh takes on popular classics, as well as his own originals which tend to pay tribute to classic British pop, American soul, and blues rock from both here at home and across the pond.
Sean plays solo every other Tuesday at Pearl Ultralounge (Ala Moana) and every Thursday at The M (Restaurant Row). His performances are often as a duo with percussionist Mark Lindberg (The Bentos, Mantra).
In addition to his solo & duo shows, Sean also plays electric guitar and sings backup in the five-piece blues/rock/pop band The VeJJs. They play every third Thursday at Bar 35 in Chinatown. Come out and catch a show...you don\'t want to miss this group!
