Performing Art – Philadelphia
I am a musician and performance artist who creates high-concept live shows based around original electronic music, fast-paced choreography, live singing, and various technical elements such as voice-over and video projection. I view performance as a means to both entertain audiences and to challenge them to explore and question. My work is largely autobiographical, drawing on my experiences as a queer person of color to provoke important conversations about gender, sexuality and race. By directly confronting the audience with my truth and my unique perspective, I hope to encourage others to do the same.
