Sillier Than Sally

I am Sydney based artist Sillier Than Sally (Sally Walsh), my art dances between the realms of Art, Illustration, Mixed Media Assemblages, Accessory Design & Graphic Design. I have been creating art in one form or another since potty training, with a background in animation/inbetweening at Disney Studios, floristry, graphic design and finished artist in the advertising industry, and as a freelance artist/illustrator and squeezed in between all that has been loads ‘n’ loads of inspirational overseas adventures. More recently I have established a Art, Illustration & Graphic Design creative business “Sillier Than Sally”, and I am loving the adventures that come with it - competing in live art battles, being involved in group exhibitions, designing business identities and funky graphics, painting murals on office to pub walls, creating colourful and unique accessories for sale at boutique markets...and of course creating a range of ever evolving art that is always dramatic and eye catching, are rich in warmth, whimsy and femininity..... and of course usually with a slightly silly quirkiness that is always smile inducing.
