SIMBIOTEK DESIGN LAB, accessories inspired by architecture and biology. We are architects by day and product designers by night! Each of our products are digitally designed and hand crafted after rapid prototyping fabrication with a laser cutting machine or three-dimensional printer. We hope to bring awareness to fragile symbiotic relationships in degrading ecosystems and human populations around the world by creating designs which are sustainable and fashionable. INSPIRATIONS

Biology and architecture are at the heart of Simbiotek. Our designs are inspired by unique plant formations we see while traveling and often by architectural studies and analysis contracted while designing a building or public space. We also are interested in ancient culture and anthropology, reinterpreting traditional forms of human expression - like jewelry, carving, or textile patterns - into modern fabrications. While traveling, we often catalog images from both nature and built form to act as a springboard of inspiration for our next project. We focus on utilizing modern fabrication methods that allow for a high-quality output that improves the functionality of our designs.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT RAW

RAW gives the world the chance to explore creativity in all of its forms, including undiscovered talent. As creatives, we often struggle to present our ideas in a tangible, digestible outlet and RAW is that chance at exposure.
