Visual Art – San Jose

I graduated from UCSD in 2006 with major in studio art, & have been working within the Bay Area artist community since. From San Francisco to Salinas, I have been displaying my work in group shows. I paint primarily in acrylics, thought venture into pastel and charcoal. My work consits of things that inspire me from day to day, shifting with my moods, never falling into one strict category. There is one constant within my paintings and that is color. I love color whether it be expressing the layers of a coat in my animal portaits or adding life the skeleteons and the sugar skulls masks of my women in my Dias de los Muertos work. I never shy away from the female form and love to celebrate its beauty, sexuality and richeness within my work. I am continually looking for ways to express the rawness of the feminity in my work. I currently work at my studio in Santa Clara, CA where I manage to get some paint on canvas.
