There is something inherently fascinating in the way light works. I love the way it bounces around, defining shadows and producing spectacular colors. Light gives us the beauty in a young woman's face and the chiseled muscles of a strong, confident man. Wherever I'm at, I never tire of looking to see how the light plays off whatever is around me. Much of my work is deeply contrasted with rich, vibrant colors. That is the look that appeals to me the most. I also like to take photographs of food that will make you hungry and ask where it came from. I prefer shooting with natural light when I can but I'm quite adept at using artificial light if need be. In the end it all comes down to the light.
