Beauty – Ventura
My name is Lizamae, I am a Makeup Artist and a Registered Nurse.
I have always had a love for makeup and the want to help people. Growing up, I made playing with colors, makeup, and new products a hobby of mine. I thought that my high school career path would lead me to the makeup and fashion industry, but It turned out that Nursing was my calling! I graduated from nursing school in \'05 and started working in some of nursings toughest/high stress fields (emergency/trauma/flight nursing). I used makeup as my stress outlet and made myself available to my family and friends as their makeup artist for special occasions (or just for fun!)
After 7 years of working as an RN, I found myself at a point in my life where I wanted to pursue something new and fresh, something that is... ME! So I finally decided to go on and follow my dream of becoming certified and professional Make-up Artist. Now, with all that I had learned, from an extraordinary mentor, I have become very fortunate to work with great photographers, models, designers, and other MUA\'s here in Ventura County, throughout Southern California, and Arizona.
Nursing is my job and make-up is my PASSION!
