Solar Fever has been playing shows across Long Beach and Orange County, slowly building up a following, and making a name for themselves all within the past two years. Rain and Mike met at a party where they were each playing in a different band, but then they decided to merge their talents and make raucous noise together. Faced with the decision of whether or not to play as a duo, the two chose instead to invite their good friends (who were also the best guitarists they knew), Brandon Baker and Luca Pino, to join the band. The four quickly bonded and began developing their new sound. Last winter, the band teamed up with Adam Chraibi to record their debut EP, "Youth, Revisited." Featured on the EP is a mix of old and new, with songs written during high school to songs written within the last year. As for now, the band is working on planning shows for this upcoming spring and summer, as well as working on new material. They’ve shared the stage with cool bands such as Avi Buffalo, Weed Diamond, Angry Truck, DC Drive, Earth Tourist, Selegna Sol, Twin Pines, Vox Amoris, Mulatto, and many more.
