Visual Art – Sydney
My little journey began when I received a short scholarship to The Whitehouse Institute of Design in 2010, which formally lit my passion for illustration. I then started studying illustration in 2011 at Hornsby TAFE, a TVET Fashion Illustration course, in which I received the ‘TVET Outstanding Student Award’, still proud till this dayJ. These courses taught me so much about the foundation of illustration and the materials that were available to use. I have been studying A Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles and The University of Technology since 2013 and I am absolutely in love with what I do.
I have had a lot of luck in my short career, two years ago I was approached by an amazing author, Lina and was asked to commission 50 illustrations for her book ‘Beyond Woman’. More recently I have worked for brands such as the incredible Samantha Wills, I have submitted work for Disney Australia and I was recognised last year by Harper’s Bazaar as being one of The 13 Best Australian Fashion Illustrators.
