Kristine Pierce

Creating art started about 30 years ago and over that time, has become an integral part of my existence. I studied art in Santa Barbara for several years in the late 1990's and discovered sculpture and printmaking. My inspiration comes from my own academic interests such as archeology, history, mythology, nature, and science. The culinary arts have recently become apart of my life, having graduated from the Art Institute with a degree in baking and pastry. In life there is such an abundance of wonderful variety that I feel compelled to explore everything.
