Studio ALX and Grey Bricks Studio

I have been crafting as long as I can remember. I\'ve always loved working with my hands, there is just so much satisfaction in being able to say \"I made this.\" Sewing came to me after I moved away from home and started working at JoAnn Fabrics. I have made a variety of items over the years but really enjoy accessories and (modern) quilting. I started my etsy shop in 2010 with just key fob wristlets, camera wristlets and lanyards, then expanded adding clutches and coin purses. I will soon be adding my jewelery to etsy as well. And can only hope to have to opportunity to add even more items. About 6 years ago I met Courtney when she started working at JoAnn Fabrics. Right away we clicked because of our love of art. She started her etsy shop two years ago, first with her paintings and now this year with her jewelry. Courtney has been doing art forever but did not think she could sell it until recently. She went through an emotional roller coaster over the last 4 years and after all that she finally had enough and decided to take a chance and put her art online. After everything we both have been through and with our love of art we decided to do a raw showcase together.
