Sukie Conley was raised in \"the region\" of Indiana. Always a writer, in the summer of 2008 she picked up a friend\'s guitar and began playing, exploring the ranges of her voice, and putting her words to music. Later, she decided it was time to take her music outside the confines of her living room couch and let others in on the fun. Sukie’s work seeks a sound that is constantly revelatory and at the same time familiar and real. The result is a growing body of relentlessly original songs. To listen to her songs is to walk around inside of them and come out feeling at home and refreshed. Strong, beautiful, clear, coy, and curious vocals paired with her confident approach to the guitar is what sets her pieces apart. She released her first EP, Part I: Home in December of 2011.
