Visual Art – Seattle

I have been painting for about a decade now. My work is a combination of instinct and planning to express things that really make an impression on me. A lot of times it\'s a certain idea or a quality, which is pretty abstract. But at other times it\'s a concrete subject. I like to render subjects in their element to capture a gamut of qualities, from grace to ferocity, from peace to passion. And this has led to artwork showing subjects either conveying the essence of a certain mood or intensely engaged in some activity. Whether abstract or otherwise, each of my works tells a story, and it is the interpretive nature of my work that makes the process of creating art a cathartic experience for me. I am a humanist and my goal is always to find release for human emotions, and cerebral as well as spiritual energies through art.
