I was born and raised in Maine with lots of land to run around on and trees to climb. I began my life observing nature and running wild through it. I have always created things. I formalized my artistic tendencies within Massachusetts College of Art, and The University of Southern Maine graduating in 2000 with a BFA in Sculpture. Since graduating from school, I have obtained my Master\'s in elementary education and teach in a charter school for the arts. I incorporate the arts while teaching humanities and math. I work on some creative endeavor everyday. I have a fabric obsession, a string obsession, a garden obsession and a tendency to comb large trash piles for objects that I may suspend my works within. When I am not creating, I am thinking of creating.
