Visual Art – Northern Rivers
My name is Susi Sweeney and I was born in West Berlin, Germany – at a time when the city was still surrounded by the Berlin Wall. For the past 20 years, I have lived in Australia where I am raising three children as a sole parent. Prior to migrating to Australia, I lived in Africa for a couple of years and India where I studied yoga intensively. I now instruct yoga classes where the breath becomes the inspiration for the mind to reveal it SELF.
The formal study of Visual Arts has helped develop my creative expression that comes out through my inquiry of the mind. In addition to my canvas art, I created the Byron Heart Journal to inspire and encourage others to trust the guidance found in ones creativity. It is a work in process and art journaling has become a daily practice and tool of insight for me.
The ‘Art of Healing’ magazine recently used one of my paintings as their cover artwork.
