Chantae Sudlow

Chantae Sudlow has always had the creative spirit of an artist thus propelling her to dig deeper and connect more with her craft. After obtaining her degree and training in studio art, her art became more influenced by and developed around her experiences as a Black woman. She works within the realm of self-identity and how we (people) relate to that concept. To further investigate self-identity, Chantae poses as the muse for the subjects of her pieces. Her paintings invite viewers to reflect, see themselves and others in social, sexual, cultural and political perspectives.
