Thank you for visiting the Taste of NY Styles by Stephanie M. Guerra profile. I do not think the word fashion would have ever existed in my vocabulary. Growing up I often looked at myself as different. My style was different than most and I along with others eventually learned how to appreciate it. I looked and look at fashion as one of the most important things a person can create for themselves to build their self-esteem and Lord knows I needed a lot of that build back in the day. I never dressed for others, I always dressed for myself and I think that my style became a way for me to prove the power of self-expression. I used to be that average shy girl that never quite knew where she fit in until the day fashion became a part of my life and when it did, people began to take notice and would ask \"where\'d you get that\", say \"wow that looks amazing\", and \"can you make me over?\" And when I did, I would get crazy excited to see what I felt was my walking artwork. I developed a passion for making others feel just the way I felt when I dressed myself each day, beautiful. At first styling was just a hobby for me, but as time and years went by I realized that it was also my crazy imagination that I wanted to bring to life. Taste of NY Styles is my own with only my little weekly savings, self-taught skills and passion. I\'m trying to tell people who I am through my style and be the next story of a small town girl who never gave up. When asked if I think I will make it to the top, I like to say I have made it to the top already because I am doing what I love. I live for having the boy or girl next door walk up to me looking to transform and then actually not only transforming but transcending them. I live for setting trends and teaching people that fashion is not whats in, fashion is what’s you. I also don\'t believe in outdated, I believe that if you mix what\'s now with what was yesterday and it works then that\'s a tough look. In visiting my page you will see my eye and be brought into my world and point of view on fashion. You will see my urban street side combined with my glamour high fashion side. I am very influenced by NY trends and although currently residing in Miami, Florida, I feel I have never lost myself and want to introduce edge, fierceness and more importantly risks.
