Taylor Mckenna

Taylor Herzog has been writing, recording, producing, singing and playing music since 1995. He has produced two complete albums under his stage name, Taylor Mckenna, and one under his real name, Taylor Herzog. His full albums can be heard and purchased on Itunes. Since the debut of his self titled album in 2006, Taylor has accumulated a myriad of praise for his musical and songwriting ability. Soon after it\'s release, Taylor\'s first album won him the \"Emerging Artist\" slot on the 2006 Virgin College Mega Tour, a 19 city, national tour, where he shared the stage with Yellowcard and Mae. He was chosen from hundreds of bands nation wide vying for the spot. Taylor continued to expand his fan base by playing festivals and receiving air play on radio stations and podcasts across the country. Taylor\'s second album,\"The Awful Din\" was released in 2007, and received attention from critics and fans alike. His myspace page was flooded with interest and was in the top ten ranked \"FolkRock\" pages. Taylor had the opportunity to attend Texas A&M Medical School in 2011 where he continued to write and record music. In 2012, while studying to be a physician, he wrote, produced and recorded his third album, \"A Room in a Room\" Taylor works from over 15 years of classical training and musical theory expertise to lay the foundation of his songs. Many who hear his music have commented on how poignantly original it is.
