Visual Art – Nashville

I am an Art Therapist/ Artist in Nashville TN. I work on the beliefs that humans have an innate need to create, desire for connection and that every story matters. I graduated from Millikin University in 2005 with a BFA, concentrating in Drawing and Ceramics. In 2007, I earned my Masters of Education in Counseling: Art Therapy from the University of Louisville. My education in the creative arts and counseling provides the framework for a specific skill set...I make art with people and listen to their stories; allowing for expression, connection, and ultimately, healing. I create my own art in my home studio, exploring color, form and process. The art making process serves as a meditation; an opportunity to reflect on and experience what it means to be [human].
