TheBBC originally started as a solo bass project that Brandon Brown was
working on with his brother/producer, Stanley Randolph. Brandon wanted
to put lyrics on a song he wrote called “What You On” which , at the time he
only had words for “the hook”. The whole song came together and vocalist
McKenzie Green came in and put an amazing and awesome vocal performance on the song and The Smokin’ Horns blazed it as well.!!!
So, the song started to make some noise underground and TheBBC had to start
performing it!!! The song, like all of TheBBC’s music, has live bass, drums, guitars, keys, horns, percussion and vocals, all needed to pull of their music
right. Brandon has been blessed to be friends with some of the most incredible musicians on the planet and they came together to form The
Brandon Brown Collective aka TheBBC.
