Music – Orlando
Formed in September of 2011, The Cold Start are an indie pop-rock band originating from England. The band is comprised of Lloyd Williams (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Keys), Nicholas Taylor (Lead Guitar), Daniel Smith (Bass, Backing Vocals) and Adam Cardy (Drums).
Coming together in their pursuit to create music, they relocated to California from the UK and in January 2012 they arrived in Los Angeles, signed with management and immediately began recording new material, the results of which was the self titled EP \'The Cold Start\' released in January 2013.
After a year on the west coast playing live, and gaining fans and followers, they relocated to Florida on the continuing journey that is now, the east coast with the same mission as always, to continue to grow, artistically and across the country.
Their music is being heard, shared and enjoyed by their fans and has received praise from their peers such as Keane and Elbow. Their self-titled EP was released at the beginning of January 2013 and their latest record \'Grateful Eyes\' was released in early October.
The Cold Start are remaining true to creating music with traditional songwriting values that appeal to all. This is why they came together and why they will continue to write honestly and truthfully.
