Think Mumford & Sons meets Peter Paul & Mary.... With a feeling of sincerity and honesty rarely heard in the music scene these days, The Heart Collectors distinctive sound is hard to ignore. Stunning vocals, soaring cello, sparkling mandolin and intricate acoustic guitar. Their music and lyrics inspire a return to innocence, integrity and all that is good in the world. Late in 2013, The Heart Collectors set out to record their debut album, ‘Sangrael’. They headed into one of Australia’s most prestigious recording studios - 301 Studios, Byron Bay. Here under the watchful eye of engineer Jordan Power (Angus Stone, Xavier Rudd, The Living End), they worked solidly to put down eleven tracks in six days. The result is a beautifully honest, clean, live sounding album full of light and shade, and a raw intimacy that makes you feel you are sitting in the band’s living room listening to them write. The band is dedicated to staying true to their sound as well as remaining independent and self managed for as long as possible. They have landed a distribution deal with Australia’s largest independent music distribution Company, MGM, and their Album ‘Sangrael’ is now available to order through all Australian music stores and online from iTunes.
