Jane Kenoyer

Visual Art – Reno

Kenoyer has had extensive experience in a wide variety of the arts including writing a ballet entitled Shanghaied. After a year and a half in production, working closely with choreographer, Barbara Land and composer, Jean-Paul Perrotte, her paintings came to life through the movement of classical ballet and an original musical score. During the early years of attending college she also studied architecture and worked for an architectural firm for several years designing expansive concrete skateboard parks. Since graduating from UNR, Kenoyer has traveled extensively to various countries, including Germany, Switzerland, and France. One of Kenoyer’s most rewarding traveling experiences was teaching art to over thirty children deep in the Peruvian rainforest of South America. Kenoyer is currently the creative director and co-owner of the software company Orange Room Software. Kenoyer continues to create art work in her studio each day. She also spends time pursuing writing and is currently an editor at large for Hi-Fructose Art Magazine. Collectors of her work include internationally known gallery owner Kirsten Anderson, Merilyn Melton, Michael Sarich, Brett Van Hoesen, and Suzy Kahl, owner of Kahl Commercial Interiors Inc.
