The Morning Still

Hailing from Wisconsin, and fueled by coffee and cheese, Matthew is an independent freelance composer. Beginning at the wee age of 6, his innate passion and skill for music became apparent when, being thrilled by the music in a movie, he would rush home from the theater straight to his piano to compose a continuance of what he heard for the big screen. He’s been immersed in music ever since. With extensive training in all things music including several overseas stints for Master Piano study, combined with his natural talent, Matthew formed his musical prowess that can be heard today in a range of media from radio to independent film to television commercials including PBS.
