Performing Art – Nashville
The Pro Trac Dance Facility is Nashville’s first home for commercial dance training. We utilize weekly open classes with quality instruction, special workshops from experienced professionals, tailored career consultations, mentorship, and more to educate and bring the best out of our dancers. The Pro Trac seeks to foster the development of dancers by providing them with the best training Nashville has to offer. Our teaching community is made up of a group of talented and creative professionals, who are passionate about their craft and passing on all their knowledge to their students. We offer the tools and support necessary for our students to reach their full potential. This is, in simplest form, the driving force behind The Pro Trac and what fuels the brand as a whole.
The Pro Trac was founded by Zach and Dorinda Walker. This dynamic duo shares a unique compatibility that comes across in their passion for the art and their instructing style. Between the two of them, they have spent time training at Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, CA, Studio 411 and Gotta Dance in Atlanta, GA, Vanderbilt Dance Theatre under Keith Fitzpatrick, DC Dance Factory under Chase Benz both in Nashville, TN, and The Monsters of Hip-Hop Convention where they both have received scholarships and Zach was a Monsters Show semi-finalist.
In 2017, The Walkers brought in Tosha Pendergrast as a Co-owner and Director. Tosha feels called to be a dance teacher and choreographer. She started as an assistant teacher at The Bellevue Dance Center and has now been teaching dance for 12 years. You may have seen her critically acclaimed choreography for Pull-Tight Players, Gaslight Dinner Theatre, Larry Keeton Theatre, Circle Players Theatre, Street Theatre Company, and Murfreesboro Center for the Arts. She has taught at Belmont University, Vanderbilt University, Columbia State Community College, Centennial High School, Christ Presbyterian Academy, Father Ryan High School, Nolensville High School, Brentwood Academy and is the choreographer for the award-winning Ravenwood High School Musical Theatre Program.
