Theresa Dennehy

Creating art is my meditation. Growing up art has always been something I could relate to and find comfort in. During high school I started to really get into sculpture and stayed with it throughout my senior AP art class and then applying to Montserrat College of Art with a sculpture portfolio. During freshman year I was told I was going to have to take painting and drawing classes and I was mortified because I had not painted since I was very young and I was not confident in my drawing skills. The first day of my painting class, I realized I wanted to be a painting major. Everything about it is so fluid and raw and emotional, it made everything click for me. I am now going into my junior year as a painting/drawing major.
