Visual Art – Phoenix
I am a fine artist from Scottsdale, AZ. When I'm not teaching fourth grade, I'm with my husband Garrett and one year old son Leo. I have always sought beauty in the world, and I feel that I become more of the best version of myself when I am expressing that beauty in a creative way. Sometimes that looks like meticulously working on a specific piece over time, but more often than not it has become writing and painting quickly when I find myself inspired by the world around me. Working with words and acrylics has allowed me to express who I am as a person, and, in living a creative life, I find inspiration magnified when I take the time to pursue the beauty around me. Being an artist has allowed me to be a more fearless and fulfilled person.
