I am an astrophysicist, technically. When I began college studying ceramics and was required to complete a science course. I decided to take astronomy because it seemed “fun and easy”. It wasn’t easy, but oh boy, was it fun! I decided that I wanted to become an astronomer, and that\'s exactly what I did. I now have a degree in astrophysics. I spent some time in research, focusing on star formation, galaxies, and even volcanoes. I love all fields of science; astronomy, geology, and physics are just my three favorites. As much as I thoroughly enjoyed observing on telescopes, and hiking over volcanoes, my urge to create has never left my body - I couldn\'t leave the art world behind. I now spend my time blurring the line between the sciences and arts. My shop, The Science Boutique, is full of handmade jewelry, accessories and now clothing that is science themed; I design and make every piece myself. I try to make each piece as scientifically accurate as possible.
