Visual Art – Los Angeles
I am a ceramic artist with a BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. I’ve made art since I was a child beginning in drawing and painting, and moving into photography in high school. I went to college with the idea of becoming a fashion photographer, but love for hands-on, process-based arts remained and I continued to take drawing and painting classes. I took a pottery class on a whim and found my passion for ceramics. 7 years later, and I have maintained a steady studio practice working on the pottery wheel. I still enjoy drawing and watercolors and use surface treatment techniques to include these practices in my ceramic pieces.
