I grew up in a logging community up North in the Sepiwana forrest. As a child I was fascinated with the movement of a gigantic tree falling as it tore down everything in its path to the ground. Quickly I understood man's power to destroy nature - and now, I make soap operas involving the romanticism of forestry and the loggers sick obsession with the sap of trees.
