Visual Art – San Francisco
Ellis Kim is a San Francisco Bay Area native, currently working on his graphic novel project, Time Fiddler. He also illustrates, writes, and wants to learn languages and computer stuff sometime soon.
He began work on the concept for Time Fiddler at the start of 2013, as a way to find relief from his then day job as a project manager for a web tech startup. As he became more serious in dedicating time and research towards the comic, he eventually left his job to hitchhike and travel in real life, leaving the San Francisco Bay Area, and traveling with friends or alone at various times, going through Colorado, Illinois, Florida, and Minnesota during the dead of winter. He began his journey with homeless crust punk kids and train hoppers with hearts of gold, learning invaluable lessons and experiences that would find their way back into Time Fiddler.
