Visual Art – Chicago
I graduated from the School of the Art institute of Chicago in May 2013, with a BFA in painting. I am currently located in Chicago, but grew up in Brooklyn, NY.My primary medium is Oil painting, but I also work with artists books in a variety of mediums, as well as etching, woodcut, and other print media.
Some core aspects of my work are the exploration and interpretation of the human subconscious, universal consciousness, and spirituality, among other topics. Within my work, materials, subject matter, and technique are often used in strange combinations in order to confuse, overwhelm, and engage.
