Toan Tran is a multi-faceted creative in dance, photography, and film. In filmmaking, he is a digital film director and editor that focuses on creating commercial, music video, and narrative content.

He has collaborated with Load It Productions, Agora Entertainment, Vossen Wheels, Monster Energy, Mbrothers (Poland), World of Dance, Kollaboration, ETC HQ (Philippines), MNET (Korea), Dunson Music, Stephen “Phamish”, Average Yo Young, June Marieezy, and many more.

Growing up and tuning into the arts, he stumbled upon photography, during his high school junior year as a second creative outlet. Notable to his surprise, he quickly fell in love with the aesthetics of photography and transitioned into digital film production in his late college years.

During his studies at Mediatech Institute, a technical digital film production school, he was garnered with much acclaim from his mentors and peers in cinematography. He graduated as Valedictorian of his class in 2013.

He has been featured on AmpedAsia as an up and coming independent Asian American filmmaker in 2011. Amped Asia is an online premier magazine for Asians in North America, that has interview and featured artists, such as, Kal Penn, David Choi, and Ariel Velasco Shaw.

He has also been featured as a top filmmaker nominee as RAW Artist from RAW:Natural Born Artist,” the largest Indie Artist Organization spanning over seventy cities, four countries worldwide in the United States, Australia, Canada, and United Kingdom.

Other than film production, he appreciates philosophy, design, fitness, hip hop music, and break dancing, but that’s another conversation in itself.
