I am a teacher, coach, writer, and artist who experiments with a variety of different media and whimsical content. When I became a mother, embracing my new role did not come entirely naturally. Babies befuddled me and I felt I had lost myself. I have always written and found the occasional moment to paint or draw, but in the past three years, I needed art more than ever. After getting the wee one to sleep, I would stay up for hours, despite my fatigue, making and doing. Creating is an outlet that allows me peace and a semblance of balance.
