I grew up thinking art was for other people who had way more talent than me. For most of my teens and 20s I felt disconnected and artistically starved. Then at age 34 I had a creative awakening that unleashed a deep desire to express, write and make jewelry. I let go of trying to be a master artist who was \"good enough\" to make art and started to explore craft for just for the fun of it. I learned one simple wire wrapping technique, and in the process, I discovered the joy in making jewelry that was simple, natural and imperfect. Art became a healing process where my inner perfectionist dissolved and my “HeARTist” emerged. Today it is my honor and passion to help people reconnect to their raw, exquisite essence through the sacred art of adornment and crafting. I live with my heart wide open, embracing the full journey of life and weaving my love, inspiration and wisdom into one of a kind wearable art.
