Vanessa Long began her journey into the arts when she was just five years old in a small town in Pennsylvania. When she was sixteen she began teaching at a local studio and started to explore the world of choreography. After highschool she joined the Lenharts Dance Company and the UDC Dance Company as she began attending West Chester University to pursue a degree in Theatre and Dance. After graduating from college she moved to NYC to pursue her career in choreography and stage direction. In her first week in NYC she was able to book her first choreography gig in the Off-Off Broadways show "The Boogeyman Diaries of A Broken Home". After this she was booked to choreograph several shows such as the Off Broadway Shows and Off-Off Broadway Shows "The Buttcracker", "And Baby Makes Three", " Dances of Life and Death", " Who's Afraid of the Moon", "Once Upon A Rose", "Outwitting the Voice". She has also choreographed several Music Videos, and Films such as Floxy Bee's "Seioo" Music Video, "Rooftop" from the Director Amanda Hanna-McLeer, and "Dissolve" in collaboration with Director Kate Barker-Froyland. She is also the Founder and Artistic Director of the Vanessa Long Dance Company.
