| 7Lightningbolt* incites and emboldens free thinking by crushing the walls of traditional fashion. We aspire to bring a different spin on the mundane traditionalism that has been created in the fashion world. This is evident by us delivering only handmade pieces, where every aspect of every piece is made by us, deconstructed, to create one-of-a-kind wearable art using locally-made and recycled elements. Every piece also gets a variety of different mediums of decoration (from sewing, screen printing and cut/sew to stenciling, painting and airbrushing) to show its true qualities. We sustain a unique level of environmental and social awareness that is represented in each of our conceptual designs. All artwork on the clothing tells a story or has a deep conceptual meaning that underlines something that needs to be talked about (if it be as simple as a time line or as intricate as decoding messages). Along with our new merchandise, we also use vintage pieces to deconstruct, revamp and form together making new pieces with the old, abandon clothing that would be neglected otherwise. We are militant in our determination to expand consciousness and socially liberate our alliance of clientele. We know that a much needed change can come through showing people how one can look outside the box, how being environmental can really make a difference and how clothing can be much more than meets the eye! |
