Born in Orland Park, IL, a small town outside of Chicago I always had a passion for design. Pursuing my dream, I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Polimoda in Florence, Italy and Central St, Martins in London, England. After graduation I was intrigued by the film industry and wanted to try out costume design. I worked as a Wardrobe Assistant on HBO’s “Recount” starring Kevin Spacey, Denis Leary, and Laura Dern filmed in Jacksonville, Florida. Mary Vogt, the head Costume Designer, asked me to move to Los Angeles, CA to be her assistant. I worked on a few smaller projects then went back to fashion design working as a Design Assistant for BCBG Max Azria. During this time I was also working on a small clothing line Zoë Winston to be shown in LA Fashion Week 2008 as well as my jewelry line Satori Breonn. So far Satori Breonn has been featured in Noise, Level and Avant Magazine. A necklace filled with Purple Swarovski Crystal Diamonds was auctioned off for the Raw Safari Soiree Event to help raise money for children in Africa. Soon after I was asked to present my line in collaboration with Fashion Designer Lisa Michelle at the Raw “Heat” Fashion show in Los Angeles 2009. The response was overwhelming. Among the buyers were members of the Saudi Arabian Royal family who purchased almost the entirety of the collection, including special requests for one of a kind dresses. My jewelry will also be shown on Gossip Girl and on the Biggest Loser later this season. I am planning to have my launch party for Satori Breonn the first week of December in Los Angeles, CA. I am very excited to see what the future will hold.
