Born and raised in Laguna Beach, but nothing like the MTV show, Alec Bridges is a spiritually inspired singer-songwriter. Fueled by Yoga and Vipassana Meditation, Alec created and released his debut album, Look Inside, in 2006. Shortly after its release, it was awarded the Best Triple A (Adult Alternative Americana) Album of the Year in the 16th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards.
In 2008, he began work on a follow up record, but decided to put the album on hold to work on a live DVD with SongCheck Live. The single - "Move", was the only thing released from these studio sessions.
In June of 2009, Alec released the live DVD with SongCheck Live and the project has been nominated for the Los Angeles Music Awards.
Alec is currently recording two new albums in between going to silent meditation retreats. The first album, "Pain & Joy" will be available online for people to name their own price for and 100% of the the money received will go to charity.
