about RAW:
Creative diversityFavorite Thing in the Whole Wide World:
Growing up in the scenic and artsy town of Sedona, Arizona opened my eyes to art, both to the beautiful natural surroundings as well as to the many varieties of local artisans, including my father, and numerous galleries.
I started creating and selling art directly after high school that featured nature.
After graduating with a BFA from Arizona State University, my style expanded to include and specialize in the human form. Recently, as a theme, my art is a reflection and many times a literal interpretation of the female form within the confines of a surreal or contrasting situation. By doing so, I create a dream-like experience for the viewer. I also experiment with many types of mediums including paper collage to enhance the surrealism of a piece.
