I am a Graphic Designer, graduate of CSULB. I am Cuban-American. I started this company to reflect my bi-cultural style, and to fill a void in my wardrobe and a void in the marketplace.

Valiente Clothing Company is dedicated to empowering the Latino community. We enjoy sharing our cultural art; provoking thought, appreciation, laughter and pride, through the power of a t-shirt. We recognize the contagious energy of the Latino way of life. We value the traditions of yesterday, while integrating that sense of pride into a visible, tangible presence in today's trendy lifestyles. We are proud to provide an affordable, powerful means for Latino consumers to express themselves. Fashion often reflects cultural movements and encourages personal re-invention. However, very rarely does one find a correlation between the shirt on their back, and the heartfelt emotions associated with the pride of one's heritage. Valiente Clothing Company aims to fill this void.

Our philosophy is to celebrate a beautiful life where “Empowerment is Everything;” driven by passion, purpose, and strength to overcome anything. We admire those who maintain their roots, despite being uprooted. We are inspired by those who speak, act, and live to enrich the lives of others; be it on an individual, cultural, political or philosophical level.

The unique element introduced by our clothing brand is the conceptual value incorporated to reflect the Latino existence. It is the celebration of the language, slang, food, music, historical and political references that encourage the preservation of the Latino identity. We enrich our culture through old and new traditions combined. We love everything from congas to turntables; old sayings to street slang; chancletas to salsa shoes; and fried bananas to fried chicken. As a company we strive to evolve, adapt, and reflect the ever-changing world of fashion and popular culture.
