Mireya: Mireya’s passion for dance started during her childhood with her families love for dance and music constantly surrounding her in their home. She began at the age of six studying, ballet, jazz, and Hawaiian dance. In 1998, she was introduced to Cabaret bellydancer “Cyriana” (with Turkish emphasis) and instantly became her student for seven years. She then studied in International Arts Academy with Maria “Aziza” who taught Egyptian bellydance. Mireya’s love for bellydance has pursued her to take workshops with other well known bellydancers such as Tribal dancer Sharon Kihara, Sonia and Jilliana from Bellydance Superstars. She believes dance is one the most beautiful art form and helps the soul from within feel alive which is why she continues to learn and gain knowledge in the world of dance.
Mireya is currently dancing at Eden’s Garden Café in Glendora and Eden’s Bar and Grill, Pasadena, Friday and Saturday nights. She also performs in company events, holiday and special events.

Elissa: Elissa has been performing and studying the art of Middle Eastern Dance since 1999. She fell in love with the freedom of movement, energy of the music, and the strength of feminine grace found in belly dancing. She began studying with Nanette Young and performing with The Dancers of Amara, a performing troupe from the Central Coast of California. Soon she was performing at restaurants in San Luis Obispo and various other functions, festivals and parties in San Luis Obispo County.

Elissa has trained under Saundra Sarrouf of the Central Coast and has taken several workshops with Ansuya, Tamra-Henna, Heather Stants, Jillina, and Sadie. Elissa has also studied extensively with Alexandra King and Aubre of the Belly Dance Super Stars.

Elissa shines at accentuating the beauty of the basics of Middle Eastern dance. Elissa incorporates the dynamic styles of traditional Middle Eastern dance, flamenco, and tribal fusion dance to make it her own; while still recognizing the authenticity of each unique style.

Elissa currently performs at Eden’s Garden in Glendora and Pasadena every Friday and Saturday night, and at Zahle in North Hollywood with Chadi Hamdan every Saturday night.

Elissa & Mireya have been performing together for nearly five years and have done numerous weddings, parties, and corporate events. Their bright smiles and beautiful stage presence will lift your hearts to an exotic world of dance!
